UP Scorecard training helps organizations make informed packaging decisions

In 2024, food service organizations and not-for-profits participated in internal training activities introducing them to the Understanding Packaging (UP) Scorecard. These presentations provided important science-backed information about the impact of foodware and food packaging on environmental and physical health. Through these capacity-building activities, stakeholders learned how to use the UP Scorecard to support more sustainable foodware and food packaging decisions.

Latest version of UP Scorecard allows users to create private accounts, make and save product portfolios, compare entire business units, and features a more robust scoring system for chemicals of concern considering the food or beverage served
